Beautiful Project Bags

Hi stitchers

I put in a order with SewMuch2Luv.com for a few project bags.

I got to pick the fabric I wanted too. They are so well made, I love them and just had to show you my stitchy friends.

She was so nice with all the emails back and fourth that we did. If you want a project bag I so recommend her.

They look a little like a book as they were folded but that's easy to fix.

I will show you the front and back.

I love how she put the big turtle in the middle on the front.

So what do you think of my new project bags. Pretty cool hay.

Here's the best part, I have one to give away to you. Yes I got a project bag to giveaway.

Next week I will put up a page at the top of my blog with everything in the giveaway and how to be in it. So I hope you all look for it and enter.

Happy Stitching!!!

Wisteria's Finished

Hi Stitchers

Thank you for all your comments and well wishes for Jess, she is doing great, back to running around and playing ball.

Well Kay's comment that I would get Wisteria finished came true. I didn't see it myself but last night I put on the last bead.

For a little pixie she has a lot of beads.

Now I'm at 40 Wips.

I'm thinking a new start but got to see size of fabric or maybe back to mini pirate, or well anything.
Guess you will have to see next week what I end up stitching!.
Happy Stitching!!

Puppy TLC

Hi stitchers

This week didn't go as I planned.

Sunday night Jess did something and wouldn't put her weight on her back right leg, and she was very sore. So Monday we went to the vet. After the X-ray told us nothing was wrong we all think it's the 2 pins she has in her knee. She had both back knees done at the start of the year. So Jess had a little op to get the pins out of her right knee and she has a few stitches. This week she has been very mummy, sore and sorry. She wants lots of holding, cuddles and TLC. She has been on my lap a lot. I keep getting covered in her white fur.

So not lots of stitching. I even put off housework so what little time I got went to wisteria. I'm going to play catch up this week as Jess is feeling better that she now goes to her bed or other members of the family. I'm the one she goes to when she's sick or not feeling well. The good news is she is walking great, so it was the pins.

Poor baby!

So here is wisteria before

And now

I want to get her done. This week I will still be stitching her.

I also wanted to thank you all for your comments about how many Wips. This week I got a lot of time just to see/look at my big growing pile of Wips, charts, kits, everything and I think my problem is not so much how many Wips I have but where to put everything. I will start new ones soon as they are already kitted, as I want to and keep working on my Wips. Right now I have 6 projects I would love to stitch after wisteria, Wips and new starts so we will see what happens. My problem is there's too many charts I love.

Until next time Happy Stitching!!!

Let's talk Wips

Hi stitchers, how's your week? I'm going to be busy tomorrow so I thought I would post today.

So I've finished my monthly with the last one. In weeks dye works Noel. I liked it on the card but not when stitched up, I'm not doing it again so I will put up with it.

Not very Christmas to me.

Now let's talk Wips!

I counted all 12 months as 1 wip so as of right now I have 41 Wips.

A few I don't see me stitching on again but I'm a never say never so they get counted.

This week I've been thinking what is the number of Wips I'm happy with.

Do I make it 40 Wips, so finish 2 more before I can do a new start and only go to 40. So I have to finish somethings before I can start something.

Or do I make it 50 and start all the things that I want to start, very easy to do.

I don't know. At the start of the week I was of the mind with 40 Wips as I do like getting things done too.

But as the week went on I was thinking I would love to start this or that and ya I can do 50 Wips.

I know 50 is it, no more then 50 Wips before I think I have too many.

What would you do? I'm still up in the air about it all.

The rest of the week I've been stitching Wisteria by Nora Corbett. I will keep stitching her until done. I love her and can't put her down.

Here is before

And now

This week I also got my first ever stitchy gift. I was so excited about it. I love everything that June from butterfly wings sent me. A big hug and thank you June.

The Mirabilia is mermaid of the pearls, one I don't have so very happy, and the girl in the middle is from one of my favorite designers Shannon Wasilieff. June you could not have picked better. Again a big thanks.

Talking about gifts. Kay I will be sending yours this week sometime. Sorry it's taken me so long.
Also can you tell me your blog?.

That's it from me. Happy Stitching!!!

Sick

Every winter I just have to get someone's cold. Ya I've been sick this week. Not a lot of stitching and I'm starting to miss it. I'm getting better which is good.

So this weeks stitching was on the rest of my monthly ones I just want to get them done.

Weeks dye works calypso.

Weeks dye works trick or treat. Has a brunt fire look to it.

Weeks dye works confetti.

I hope to stitch Decembers this week to finish them.

That's it until next time.

What is it about the number 3?

Hi stitchers,

Thanks for all you comments, you voted and I guess I will be keeping the posts for the smalls Sal but I think it will just be the photos.

This week I stitched on 3 projects again. I'm thinking it my number right now per week...

Treasures of the deep sal February mermaid and a little on the gold border.

I love how cute the mermaids are. Last post I told you I was thinking about beading as I go but I need January mermaid to do that as I'm stitching in hand and I'm left handed it would make it a pain. Of course the January one is the last out. Sigh. So beads at the end.

Next I wanted something fast to stitch and that was my month.
Stitched in weeks dye works mermaid

I'm really thinking about just doing the rest of them this week, get it all done.

Next was a new start. I liked stitching with only one color, I was in that type of mood so started ink circles Damask Square.

I'm stitching it on white Aida with waterlilies 281 Hudson Bay. I love how it looks so far and that it's only one silk.

That's it this week, until next time Happy Stitching!!
