A Mix

Hi stitchers, 

I needed a new start on Monday so got out my fiberlicious treasures of the deep Sal that I went into at the start of the year. It was pricey so thought I better start it soon. 

I got the fiberlicious fabric and the beads too. I ended up not useing the fabric because of some of the dmc colors.

So I'm stitching treasures of the deep Sal on 16 count Aida colour cascade fabrics called sweet child of mine. I think I'm going to get more of it later, love the colour.

Not much stitched on it but I got a start. The blue bit is a little tail of March mermaid.

Next I got out moon sweet moon and did a little on the moon.

And now not that you can really see any progress but it's there.

Next I got out my monthly word stitched in weeks dye works foliage. I'm thinking I might add a snowflake charm just above the u as its cold in July it's our winter.

And last I stitched my Lizzie Kate holiday spirit word

I love how it is turning out. I have 5 words to go.

I was brave and went to the dentist, now I'm not in any pain before going or now but after a very hard time doing a X-ray and being told she could give me a temporary fix but I would be in pain later on and have to come back for the next thing which would be a lot of money and me having to go back. I could not get out of there faster if I tried. So looks like later I'm going to get sedated hopefully when I call the dental hospital who took out my wisdom teeth. I can get it out totally which will be less stressful for me and save me a lot of money and hopefully never see a dentist again for years to come. I was so stressed that it took me 4 days to carm down. I'm still not in any pain and no I did not let the dentist give me the temporary fix. So I will see what happens, it's right at the back so it's not that bad.

Back to stitching 

Today I'm thinking of just picking a project and working on it until finished or I'm bored. I think I'm done with my rotation for a while. I don't know maybe I will just leave it all open and say I will stitch on what I want until I what. I keep going back to the wips in it after all.

Thank you for all your nice comments on my finish in my last post, it was a fun stitch when I got the big scissors done. I would hate to be the little people in the little houses with a big lady with scissors running around, don't think they would leave the house. Ha ha 

I finding out I have a few charts with scissors in them, I don't know why.

Untill next week and who knows what I will stitch, I need to stop making plans really.

Days 5 to 7

Hi stitchers

Not much was stitched but every stitch counts right?

Day 5 I call this chart ABC stitch and can not wait to stitch this again.

Day 6 chart Halloween greetings fae, I call it Halloween magic.

And today day 7 was the never ending moon in moon sweet moon

Hi stitchers,

I have never stitched a snowman. I have never wanted to, I don't get any snow. Most snowman also have something to do with Christmas but my Christmas is in summer and hot.

So why did I have to stitch 3? Maybe it was the colors.

I'm now over stitching snowman and also beading, so much beading.

And now, it gone really dark and I don't know it I like it. Not much in the way of how the girl is to look.

Moon and a few other things

Hi stitchers 

I would like to start off by saying I hope everyone is safe and alright or stays safe with the hurricanes over there that I've been hearing on the news. 

I would also like to say sorry for my up and down stitchy plans, rotations. I've found out what I like and don't like and have a plan in place that will now work for me.

This week I've been stitching moon sweet moon

Not as much as I would have liked but still progress.

I don't think I have told you that when I kitted this up I couldn't get 2 of the treasure braids so most of the moon is kreinik.

I'm ok with it so far but this week treasure braid PB201 yellow was driving me nuts.

I also got back my Queen Mermaid (because of the glass it's hard to take a good photo)

I've also been buying up big lately. It's been a while since I've had a cross stitch shopping spree but now it will be back to stitch what I got. It was fun. Just got to sit and wait for the post. 

In the mail I got my 4 charts, just waiting on the fabric to get here. 

 

Over the weekend I will be stitching my gift stitch Storykeep seasons. 

The plan is to stitch this every weekend as I would love to give it to my friend and unless I start stitching on it that's not going to happen. Progress is still progress even if it's only a few stitchers right.

Sparkly

Hi stitchers

Week 2 was Passione Ricamo week and I stitched Moon Sweet Moon.

I had a goal this week to finish step 2 and I did that with a little more. Yay me.

Right now I can not stay on any chart maybe because it's been real busy lately, or its just me.

This week will be better, I will have more time.

Anyway here is what I've been stitching 

Mini Pirate page 11 got started. I did around 11 or 12 blocks of 10 by 10.

You can now see another rock.

Mystery Sal Moon Sweet Moon. It not a mystery anymore.

I'm not going to show you what she will look like so it's still a mystery on my blog but she is pretty.

I'm thinking of still stitching her in the steps.

Here is what I've stitched with step 2 and no it's not done but I'm moving on.

A little more moon

I don't know what I'm going to stitch now, I'm thinking the Queen mermaid.

Mystery Sal Starts

Hi all

Here is step 1 of the mystery Sal I'm doing. 

I hope my counting is right and its on the right spot with the fabric.

MS is called Moon Sweet Moon

I'm using fabric from Sew it all called stormy sky and its 16 count Aida.

So far it's very sparkly. I'm doing all the backstitch and any beads last.

And here is a update on the Queen mermaid, she has been put away for now as I've been coloring my animorphia coloring book.
