Will I make it?

Hi all still stitching the tiger. 

Will I make it on time? I don't know, 

I'm hoping for the 7th dec done but if not max is the 15th dec? I really don't want to put a iou in a Xmas card.

Might need a few late nights see how it goes. 

So far its just over half way maybe. I will try and do a bit this weekend.

I will be so happy when this one is done, I hate putting myself on a timetable for my stitching.

The good news is I'm still stitching on the tiger when I can, as it's been busy around here. 

The bad news is I don't want to stitch the tiger but on my mini pirate and I want to color but if I'm to make the tiger a Xmas gift it's what I got to stitch/do right now. Ah.

Anyway here is the update

Again With The Tiger

Yes I'm still stitching the tiger. 

I'm now use to the black fabric and my stitching is back to normal speed, I think.

I'm happy with what I've done this week and I will do more today.

Halloween with a Tiger

Hi, happy Halloween 

Thank for all your nice comments on my fairy.

On the weekend I tried to start tiger reflection but was getting called away by family. 

Here is how it looks now, all the darker green I stitched this weekend. 

Stitching on black has slowed my stitching down. I have a white table which helps to find the holes. Give me any color fabric but black ha ha. I think it will look great when done but I still can not really get into this chart / kit and I think it's because of the black fabric. I will still try and keep going.

Happy Dance

Hi all, yes I have a finish.

I'm so happy Autumn Fairy is now off my to do list!

It felt like all the details eg backstitch and beads took longer to do then the cross stitch. 

I'm all backstitched out let me tell you. All the details bring the fairy to life I think.

If you know this chart you will see I left out a little on the kreinik braid backstitch as to me it was too much, I like how it turned out.

Two down and two to go on this set I've also stitch up summer.

So the photos

Next up is tiger reflection. I don't want to stitch it right now but it works out as a Christmas gift if I can stitch it in time. Wish me luck! Happy Stitching!!!

My newsagent lady asked me if i would stitch the following for her, I said sure.

 

It was a free gift from cross stitch crazy mag. She also gave me one to stitch for myself but I never stitch something twice, it's just my thing. 

So if you would like to stitch home sweet home let me know and I can send it to you, if more then one person I will just pick one of you.

Bear For Baby

It's been a busy week but I still did a little stitching on the bear. 

I think it helps that I really like stitching this one, even with all the half stitch that's in it.

Here it is so far, I will stitch more today.

The fabric is 14 count white with sparkles, which I don't think you see in the photos of the bear.

It's nice when the sun hits it just right.

New Start

Hi all, my niece is having her 2nd child early next year so it's time to do another baby cross stitch.

Looking around its been hard to find one that's not for a boy blue, or girl pink, even the pictures are for boy or girl. What if you don't know? No yellow or green or even a picture that will work for both. 

Lucky I have a old book that will work for both boy and girl no matter what she has.

So this is my new start, as you see it's a bear but you will just have to watch my blog to see what it will look like. I'm calling it bear for baby.
