Page 6

Hi last night I did the last stitch on page 6 mini pirate yay!

I now have 3 full pages and 3 half pages to go.

I also got a new head chart The secret garden

Well I'm now going to stitch page 7 of my pirate

I'm a really nice aunt!

Hi all, firstly I would like to say thanks for all your nice comments on my stitching and everything else I put on my blog. You all are great and I love all your stitching too. 

I've been having a hard time commenting on your blogs and don't know why. It works if I go on in the mornings but harder in the afternoons and it's the afternoon I have more time to look. So I'm sorry if I have not commented on all your nice stitching, but I will still try to.

So I got talking to my 2 nieces and they asked me to stitch them something. It was a joke but well lucky for them I just got a book that had 2 charts.

One asked for elephants and one asked for African or Buddha.

I did not want to do a big one for each as I have so many of my own.

I picked both charts of mother and baby as 1. It's not big and 2. Both my nieces have one child each.

Tusal and a little bit more

Hi here is my Tusal for June with a pot of my mums flowers.

So pretty!

So I was going to start a new cross stitch kit but I saw all the back stitch I was going to have to do and so the kit went away. I hate back stitch right now.

I got out the elephant latch hook instead and did a few rows here's a pic

I also started page 6 of mini pirate 

I'm thinking I will now just stitch on her until done but who knows.

Here is Jessie just before a walk with mum holding her, so cute.

Last night I did the last stitch on page 4 of the pirate. Now I'm not sure want I'm going to do but feel like something new, or I will do page 6. Um well you will just have to see.

Moments Of Joy

Life is too short to stitch what you ready do not want to, so I'm sorry but The Rose Of Sharon and Storykeep Seasons Spring are now on the wip pile. The best part, I can get away with it. So you might see both later or you might not.

On Sad news my nana died, she was 92 years old and loved my cross stitch, always asking what I was working on. 

I picked the following chart because of her, I love the words "Moments of joy to treasure" as I have so many with my nana. She would have love this on her wall. 

I don't know what I'm going to do with it as yet, I'm thinking of putting a few family photos with it in a frame.

So the chart is from Cross Stitch Collection, August 2012. I've used Sewitall fabric 14 count aida called Bluescape. Its green, white with a little bit of yellow. I got the fabric for another chart but don't think I will be stitching it for a while and I can get more later.

I would like to thank Miamina for telling me about the sampler. Its not for me but thanks.
