Sad News

On the 30th September 2014 my family and I had to put our dog Zac to sleep. It's been very hard as he was so much a part of this family. He was not sick. He went for a run at the park like he does and he pulled a tendon on his front leg, and he did not have any feeling in his foot. His foot was also very cold. Vet could have amputated his leg but he had 2 bad back legs to began with, and he could not cope with 3 legs. He was home for 2 days after and just seeing the pain in his eyes and not being able to help him. It was best for him to let him go. God it's hard. I've been stitching like mad and watching DVD's to help me but I want him back so bad. He was 10 years old and he was everywhere in this house and even outside in the streets and shops. He had a GPS on him, he told us where to walk not us. He had a watch on him after breakfast and at 4pm it was time for his walk and he would come get you if you forgot. I will never look at chicken again without thinking about him as he would get the bits we don't eat. So many things. He was one of a kind and I will never forget him.

This was one of the last photo's we took of my Friend, my little bear ZAC.

I will miss you always.

  1. So sorry to hear you lost your little friend Zac, I know how you are feeling I lost my little best friend just over a year ago ,after 18yrs it was heart breaking and still miss my Poppy.

  2. So sorry Hun. I think losing a pet is sometimes harder than losing a family member.

  3. Thank you all for your kind words, its been hard.

  4. Oh no, I am so sorry for your loss. It's so hard especially when it's completely out of the blue like that. You did what was best for him though. He looks like he was a real character! Love and hugs xx
